Ben’s First Year
We have been going through old photos to make a photobook of Ben’s first year (he turned one last August).

Ellie’s 4th Birthday Party
Ellie had her party today. Hats off to Jana for organising some fabulous fun and games (and food!).
My job was getting a giant Minnie Mouse balloon filled with helium in the morning. Fortunately I was successful, and it went down a treat.
Ellie’s First Pedal Bike
Yesterday I took Ellie to buy her first pedal bike, which was her birthday present from us. Here’s the one we chose!
We haven’t taken it out yet because the rain hasn’t let up for a moment. But here she is testing it out inside.
The Next Messi
I suppose that should be “the next Christiano Ronaldo” now.
Garden Enhancements
Our back garden is in a right state. We haven’t had the time to give it much love and care since we moved into the house three years ago. Still, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
A couple of recent enhancements though.
First, we have upgraded from a “hole in the fence” to a gate as the entrance for the garden.
Secondly, I’ve added a couple of annexes. 😉

Christmas 2013
This year we celebrated Christmas at home and played hosts (for the very first time). We had a great time. I hope you did too.
Present-opening was a chaotic affair – as it should be!
