Our back garden is in a right state. We haven’t had the time to give it much love and care since we moved into the house three years ago. Still, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
A couple of recent enhancements though.
First, we have upgraded from a “hole in the fence” to a gate as the entrance for the garden.
Secondly, I’ve added a couple of annexes. 😉
In Peebles today we saw this rainbow emerging from TOPCOP (The Old Parish Church of Peebles).
It only lasted for a couple of minutes.
Ben has been walking for about a month now and he’s growing in confidence.
Yesterday was the start of the Tweed Valley Forest Festival. In Peebles, there were a number of wood-workers on Tweed Green and some more in the Community Centre.
We had burgers for lunch, made by the lovely people from The Sunflower Restaurant.
Ben was given an apple by a man who was advertising his apple tree business. Apparently there are about 2,000 varieties of apple in the UK. This one, a little confusingly, is an ‘orange’ variety.
We also bought this whale from Kenneth of The Driftwood Studio, Traquair. I’ve been tasked with putting up a shelf for him to live on.
